My story

Hi, I’m Picasso – your next masterpiece of a cat. Once upon a snowy night in Minnesota, I was just a scrappy tabby with frostbitten ears and nowhere to call home. Life outside was tough – cold, lonely, and full of scary things (including dogs – hard pass) One of my ears still folds over from those hard days, a little reminder of what I’ve been through. But guess what? I made it. I’m safe now, thanks to the kind humans at Furball, and I’m finally learning what it means to be loved. At first, I was terrified. Can you blame me? But with time, patience, and lots of gentle affection, I’ve blossomed into a total lovebug. I live for ear scratches (especially on my good side), soft beds, cat trees to sprawl out on, and catnip – oh, sweet, sweet catnip. Call my name in a high-pitched voice and tell me I’m handsome, and I’ll melt into a puddle just for you. I get along great with other cats, but dogs? Not my thing. Who knows what I went through with them out there. I’m laid-back, snuggly, and seriously ready to find a forever home where I can keep healing, keep loving, and be someone’s cozy little shadow. If you’re looking for a gentle, grateful soul with a big heart and a little wonky ear, I’m your guy. Come meet me between 1-5pm to see if I’m your guy! I am great with other cats and would enjoy a home with one or two. I have excellent litter box habits. My new perfect family NEEDS to that understands it WILL take me a while to adjust at first and I WILL hide as I adjust. Give me time, patience, and use food as a tool to get me out of my shell - I really am a wonderful cat. I am fully vetted: neutered, FIV&FeLV negative, and up-to-date on all my vaccinations. I require an indoor only home and as with all cats - absolutely no declawing.
