My story

Meet Benjamin, a mellow and quiet cat who's looking for a calm, understanding home where he can feel safe and settle in at his own pace. Benjamin is shy and independent, and while he may not seek out attention right away, he has shown he can tolerate gentle petting when given time and space.During his stay at the care center, Benjamin has displayed some fearful behavior and may take longer than average to adjust to new environments. He would do best with experienced cat adopters who are familiar with helping cats overcome fear or anxiety, and who can offer a quiet, low-stress environment.Benjamin is not recommended for homes with young children due to his timid nature. He should also be the only pet in the home, unless potential adopters are experienced in managing slow, careful introductions with other cats.His previous owner reported occasional litter box issues, so adopters should be prepared to work patiently on any behavioral adjustments that may be needed as he transitions to a new space.With time, patience, and love, Benjamin has the potential to become a wonderful companion.
