Meet Mushie – Your Next Loyal Companion Mushie is a sweet, soulful 5-year-old Boston Terrier who is ready for a new beginning. Weighing around 25 pounds, he's the perfect compact size for snuggles on the couch or adventures in the car. Recently rescued from a shelter after being owner-surrendered, Mushie is now safe and starting his journey toward the loving home he deserves. While we may not know much about his past, we’re certain this little guy has a bright and happy future ahead. Mushie is a neutered male who enjoys the simple pleasures in life—like going for car rides! He hops right in and settles down like a pro, making him the perfect road trip buddy or weekend errand companion. He gets along well with other dogs and could easily share a home with a calm canine sibling. Muchie is crate trained, potty trained and knows how to do the commands "sit" and "down". Though Mushie may be a bit shy at first, he just needs time and patience to feel safe. Once he knows he can trust you, his gentle, affectionate nature shines through. Because of his reserved personality, Mushie would do best in a stable, quiet home with a family who understands the value of going slow and giving him space to bloom. We are currently looking for a foster or foster-to-adopt home for Mushie. He's available for placement within Texas only.
