My story

Come and meet me at our Super Adoption Saturday event - Saturday, 7/12 from 10:30am - 1:30pm at Canine Therapy Corps (3918 W Fullerton Ave, Chicago, IL ). No application needed. Swifty is: Spayed: Yes! Up to date on vaccines: Yes! Microchipped: Yes! Our microchips will automatically register when an adoption is finalized More about Swifty: Housebroken: Working on it! She has been doing well on a consistent schedule. Crate trained: Doing well overall for up to 4 hours, after taking a short time to settle initially Leash walking: Swifty can pull out of excitement when she sees new people and dogs she'd like to befriend, but has been making progress with the help of positive reinforcement training. Dog social: Yes! She lives with a dog in her foster home and benefits from having a pal to play with Cat social: She lives with a confident, dog-savvy cat in her foster home and has been doing well overall but is likely not a match for less confident cats as she can be playful and persistent. Kid friendly: Swifty has done well in brief interactions with older kids. She may be a better match for bigger kids as she tends to jump when she gets excited. Swifty likes: - Playing with dog friends - Exploring - Spending time with her person Swifty is a lovable, curious girl with limitless energy, ready to enjoy every experience the world throws at her. She LOVES water and her vast assortment of stuffies. She can self entertain but would thrive in a home with a friendly, active, dog friend to hang out and wrestle with. She’s happiest running or exploring, especially with a canine friend. Smart and eager to learn, Swifty needs an active home that can provide plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. Whether it’s fetch, a hike, or a puzzle toy, she’s always ready for fun. If you’ve got the time, energy, and maybe a playful pup, Swifty could be your perfect match! Swifty's adoption fee is $300, and this fun girl is ready for her next adventure. Next steps: Email adopt@onetail.org with questions, or submit an application online and we'll be in touch to schedule a meeting: https://www.onetail.org/apply-to-adopt/ * Our adoption application stays on file for one year and can apply to any dog in our program. Once the app is submitted you will receive an email within 48-72 hours. For additional questions, email adopt@onetail.org *

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Swifty, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
