My story

Meet Wasabi, a SUPER cute female Shar Pei mix puppy! Wasabi and her sisters Dumpling and Wonton are full of love and wrinkles! We do not know what they are mixed with, but based on their age and current size, we expect them to grow to medium sized dogs. Wasabi has a cute brown/pink nose! Wasabi is a typical happy, friendly puppy who loves everyone! Good with other dogs, cats, people, and kids. Young puppies are like blank slates who, with proper training and socialization, will grow into wonderful dogs. She is medically up to date (age appropriate) and she can't wait to find her furever family! **PLEASE NOTE: Wasabi will be available at our adoption event on 6/22 at Petco in Dayville, CT. We are accepting applications on her now! As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs.  We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted.  As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save.
