Hello everyone. I'm Rhozie (Rosie) and here you will find ingo anout me:Breed: Belgian SchipperkeAge: 4 yrs (5 - jul 4)Gender: FemaleWeight: 48-1/2 lbsHeight: 18-1/2 inches I am quiet and normally do not vocalize much, but when I am excited or want a treat, I will yodel, rather than bark. It sounds like a cute “woo-woo” that makes people chuckle.My rescuers had never seen my breed before in their country, so they think I may have been separated from my family who were tourists. Due to my small size, I was unable to compete with larger dogs for food when I was out on the streets. I would try to eat at the rescuer's doghouse camp just outside their compound, but could only do so when no other dogs were around. I allowed them to pick me up and bring me inside with no problem.Very much the unobtrusive type, I don't demand for things. I am mellow & passive. I am curious though and will watch what is going on around me. I am an affectionate girl. I'd likely do well with children because of my amazing amount of patience. I am fine with other dogs, but large unruly dogs scare me. Understandable guven my trauma of being in the streets.While I can be amusing with my silly yodel, I can also be a little reclusive at times. I'll just go to a quiet, dark placr to sleep. I enjoy snack sticks to chew on.Going for little walks suits me, as I am a bit of a chunky monkey right now. Everyone's snacks are my snacks, right? Grin. I'd like to get back to my suave, girlish figure again.I would be perfect as a family dog, because of my good natured temperament, but would also bond well with a solo owner or a couple. I would make any owner happy to have me around. Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs.Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live. While most dogs find escorting passengers flying directly to Vancouver, some will find flights through Toronto or  Montreal. In that case, additional fees will apply to fly your dog to Vancouver by cargo. Unaccompanied cargo costs within Canada range from $350 - $550 depending on the size of the dog. LALDR will be as transparent as possible with you regarding these costs. You will NOT be asked to pay a passenger fee on top of the cargo fee. [MID-EAST] *Vaccinations: Dogs from the Middle East are vaccinated for rabies, parvo, distemper, leptospirosis, adenovirus type 1 and para-influenza.
