My story

Get ready for your meal/snack time alarm clock! In the morning, Eros will signal you with his Purr-gles (a meowing, purr-like gurgle!) or nudge you with his big, tufted paws till you are ready to make breakfast. After he eats, it’s play time! He likes to stalk a favorite feather toy from under the bed or the couch! He dive bombs wadded up construction paper on the kitchen floor. He races around the apartment from 0 to 60 - Hallway to bathtub in an instant! After his exertions, he watches birds and squirrels who taunt him, as he crouches and chirp-purrs in reaction. Later, he finds a nice sunny spot to lounge, always being on the alert for any crinkle of cat treats nearby. He may also choose to rest in a handy cardboard box. If you take a nap on the bed, there’s nothing he likes more than to come lie on your chest, almost nose to nose, where he will happily stay for 30 minutes or more. As you pet him, he may vocalize little happy groans. This boy indulges in his daily brushes! He leans into the brush from his cheek to the tip of his tail, giving it an ever-sweet quiver of excitement. As it nears dinner, he reminds you yet again with his purr-gles that you are almost late for his feeding! He will assist you at the refrigerator if you need, and perform inspections of your food just to be safe. At bedtime, he is ready to finish his day with you lying at the foot of your bed or finding the warmest spot between your legs. Like any cat, Eros has his quirky but lovable habits! He’s an active cat, but also a lounger! If he’s annoyed, he may gently ‘mouth’ you; if he’s peckish, he may cruise the countertops; and if he’s nervous, he may follow you to the bathroom. Eros’ foster helped rescue him from a school site in South Central. He contracted FIV, but he is in great health and is ready for a safe, happy life!
