Scooby

My story

A volunteer writes: Scooby looks exactly like a Scooby. He has a classically handsome dog look. He was adopted in 2021 and returned recently because his adopter was no longer able to care for him. He had lived with 4 adults and was friendly, tolerant, and playful with everyone he met. He had been social with strangers, children, dogs and even cats! Scooby is a well rounded individual - he is housetrained, loves bathtime and water. He is crate trained, likes car rides, knows basic cues and loves belly rubs and attention! His family's favorite thing about him is how affectionate he is. Scooby has been anxious since coming back to the shelter. He is struggling without the affection and love he was used to in his home. He is trying his hardest to keep his spirits up. Scooby has consistently been loose and wiggly but is clearly stressed because he is used to the comforts of a home. Scooby is at Queens ACC. What my friends at ACC say about me:My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!I don't always like to share my food, toys or bedding with other animals.I'm ready to learn!
