My story

Callie is a 1-year-old Australian Shepherd mix with a heart as big as her full-body wiggles! This sweet girl may be blind in one eye and deaf, but that doesn’t stop her from living life with joy and enthusiasm. When she sees you coming, her entire body lights up with excitement — she feels the love and gives it right back. Callie is still learning to navigate the world and can be a little unsure in new situations. She needs a patient, understanding home that will help her build confidence at her own pace. With other dogs, she takes a little time to warm up, but once she does, she loves to play and be her silly, spirited self. She’s looking for a loving home that can embrace her unique needs and see the incredible, happy pup she truly is. With kindness, routine, and a gentle touch, Callie will blossom into the loyal, playful companion you’ve been waiting for.
