My story

Meet Hershey, our 2 year old Pit Bull Mix!I’ve been told I have a great smile! It’s one of my favorite compliments. It reflects the real me! Pretty, playful and outgoing! Not long ago there wasn’t much to smile about. I found myself in a situation. I fell for a preppy Poodle boy who took my heart and ran away. I was left behind with nowhere to go and babies on the way. Soon thereafter, I was a single mom. My babies resembled their dad and were quickly adopted. I was once again on my own because I didn’t have the “right” look. I’m not fluffy and delicate. I’m solid and strong - but that doesn’t mean I’m not sweet and affectionate, too. It takes a confident person to recognize beauty in strength and that’s exactly who I hope to find! At 2 years old, I’m just a youngster in need of love, guidance and understanding. I am a positive girl who likes making friends and giving hugs. I’m a good listener and I learn fast. I’m looking for a home with someone who will truly love me forever this time. I’ve always wanted a family and would be so happy to finally have one!
