My story

Who needs a faithful companion who won't steal the remote or leave dirty clothes on the floor? Che' (pronounced "Shay") is a retired cat mom who has been waiting for a loving home for quite a while. I'm fostering her and she is so darn sweet! She is 3.5 years old and basically lays around all day long. Che' loves to get scratches and will roll around so you can hit every spot. Check out the included videos.  When she looks at you, her purr will take away any stress you may have! She just wants to have a person/family who will love her in her golden years. She doesn't like lots of noise or chaos so a quiet home is preferred.  Once she claims you as her person/people, her purr will fill the room when you are around. Che likes to play with toys a little bit but mostly prefers to nap. She would rather climb into your lap than be picked up. She likes laptime but on her terms. Che hopes her new family will have a sunny window where she can lay for naps and to watch the critters play outside . . . with the window securely closed, of course!Che is hanging out in a foster home awaiting her forever family.  Apply to adopt to schedule a meet and greet.  All cats are spayed/neutered, current on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, FELV/FIV tested, dewormed and started on monthly flea preventative.           All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label.
