My story

If you are seriously interested in an animal, we ask that you first fill out an application, tailsofrescue.org  This will be the first step to gaining more information about the animal as well as allow us to know a little bit about you.   Taggart, an adorable Shih Tzu, is a delightful canine companion. At approximately 5 1/2 years old, he weighs a mere 10 pounds. Unfortunately, Taggart's previous owner has passed away, and he is now in search of a new loving home. Taggart possesses a charming and friendly demeanor, showcasing his vibrant personality, which is characteristic of a typical Shih Tzu. He exhibits excellent compatibility with other small dogs, although his behavior towards cats and livestock is currently unknown. Taggart is well-behaved on walks and is mostly house-trained. If you are seeking an outgoing, affectionate companion who will bring joy and cuddles into your life, Taggart is the perfect match for you.  He has a fully coat, no longer shaved down.   Spayed/Neuiterd, micro chipped, heartworm negative (if of age), dhpp shots, kennel cough vacs., and one year rabies is completed.  Adoption fee is $300  We are NOT a first-come-first to adopt a rescue, the best fit for the family and dog is the way we do things.  We do out of town adoptions often, but will not ship animals must come to Redding for pick up.   ##2047050##
