My story

Beautiful Talah just joined the rescue! What a sweetheart she is! Sadly, she was hit by a car some months ago and her right hip is dislocated. Ever stoic and brave, Talah has been walking around on a dislocated hip for several months. When we took her to the vet they said she was the BEST patient! Compliant and sweet even though she was in pain as they manipulated her hip to get the images. Her FHO (fermoral head ostectomy) surgery was June 6th and she is doing great with her recovery! Whoever adopts this girl will be very lucky. She is great with other dogs. Easy going, a tiny bit shy and absolutley melts your heart when she rests her head on your lap. She listens well, isn't too hyper and wants to badly to earn your praise and affection! Despite living her life outdoor, Talah has impressive house manners, is crate trained if you need her to be, and has not had one accident in the house. Friendly and congenial, Talah gets along great with the other dogs in her home including a male pit bull and a tiny 6 pound female terrier. Talah likes to come bounding up to dogs and do a play bow and she is learning that some dogs find this scary. She has already learned that a more gentle approach will elicit the engagement she is seeking from the other dog. On leash, Talah is eager to explore her surroundings as she has never had the luxury of being out and about with her people. She does pull when excited but can also walk nicely by your side. Her foster parents walk her with their 5 other dogs and she does well. She is learning to sit and allow other dogs to pass by without trying to play with them or bark to get their attention. In the house, Talah is very calm, napping on her dog bed while her foster parents work from home. She is also great in the car. Come meet this special girl!  The vet indicated she is around 1 to 1.5 years of age. If you would like to adopt, please complete an application  at https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/  The adoption fee of $250 includes the spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming and microchip.   ##2410579##

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Talah, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
