My story

Looking for the perfect mix of mellow, sweet and playful? Say hello to Leo – a young pup with a heart full of love! Leo is the best of both worlds: mellow enough to enjoy lazy afternoons and long naps, but playful enough to keep you smiling with puppy exploring and tail wags. He loves other dogs and human companions. His favorite pastimes include exploring the backyard, cuddling up after playtime, and dozing off in the sunniest/comfiest spot he can find. Whether you're looking for a buddy for your dog, a snuggle partner for movie nights, or a curious little explorer to follow you around the house, Leo is ready to fill your life with joy, warmth, and tail wags. Ready to meet your new best friend? Leo can’t wait to meet you! Leo is estimated to be 3 months old and 11 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested.  If you are interested in meeting this dog please complete the adoption application on our website at https://safehandsrescue.org/adoption-process/ and then we can contact you about setting up a meeting.
