Say hello to Dixie, a sweet 7-year-old Chihuahua mix with a heart full of love and a tail that wags just for you! At just 8 lbs, she's the perfect lap-size companion who's happiest when she's by your side – whether you're working, relaxing, or heading to bed. Dixie is a true people-lover and thrives on companionship. She'll follow you from room to room like your own tiny shadow. Because of her strong desire to always be close, she'd do best in a home where her people are around most of the time. She’s not a fan of leash walks, so she’ll need a securely fenced yard to safely enjoy her outdoor time. A quieter single-family home is ideal for this dainty girl, as she’s not well-suited to apartment living. Dixie would be happiest in a calm household with older children (8+) who understand how to be gentle with a small dog. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, companion who just wants to be near her person, Dixie might be your perfect match. Your application will be reviewed by our team and if it is a good fit, we will send to the foster family to set up a meet! The adoption fee of $400 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family. We can tell you that they are 100% RESCUED!
