Update 5.26.25 Myla is a 6 year old, playful, sweet, female, who was a breeder. She was believed to be a flight-risk when we got her but it turns out she is just skittish. Myla’s intro to our “foster-win” Ester was super easy. Myla watches Ester and takes her cues from her. We think she would transition the best into a family with another boxer. Myla does not treat, food, or toy guard. We have worked with her for potty training and she has not had accidents in the house. Myla is crate trained but has done well left out of her crate for a couple of hours and overnights. She has done well with training and learning the house rules with redirection and praise. She does not do well with loud and negative correction. She knows sit and comes when her name is called. The transport people had said Myla seemed to have a high prey drive but I think with constant training, she might learn to live with a smaller animal. She walks well on leash and has done well staying in our yard off leash. We are still working with her to walk up and downstairs. She will be spayed at the end of May. And she might need some attention to her teeth. She will be a win for her fur-ever family. Myla is a 6 year old, playful, sweet, female, who was a breeder.
