My story

Hi there! My name is Davey! I came to RASKC as a stray and then was surrendered by my previous owner. Now I`m available for adoption! I am an outgoing and energetic boy who is looking for a home that can keep me stimulated and help me continue to grow. I`m a little more than a year old so I`m still learning how to be the best dog I can be. I have a history of chasing cats and may do best in a home without small animals. I`ve been to playgroup and seem to do well with other dogs of a similar size and playstyle. My previous owner indicated that I am friendly with children! My energetic personality may mean I do best with older children who are steady on their feet.I do have a history of chasing cats and have shown a high prey drive at my foster home so I will do best in a home without small animals. Not surprisingly, I love to chase tennis balls. I may or may not bring them back.I am 50lbs and am considered a medium sized dog. My caregivers have noticed that I may do well with other similar sized dogs. When meeting dogs in a new home, I would do best with a slow introduction.I am a spirited dog with a fun-loving personality! I am still working on my manners, so I would do best with a family who is willing to work with me and help me become the best dog I can be!
