My story

Blue’s journey hasn’t been the easiest, but we believe his brightest days are still ahead. At just seven months old, this beautiful German Shorthaired Pointer was surrendered by his owner—not because he was unloved, but because life circumstances changed. With a move into a much smaller space and not enough time to give Blue the active, engaged life he deserves, his former owner made the heartbreaking decision to let him go in hopes he’d find a future filled with more freedom, fulfillment, and joy. More space to run. More time to play. More connection. More of everything that makes life joyful for a young pup. Now, Blue is getting the fresh start he deserves. He’s currently in a board and train program with our incredible partners at Connected Canine, where he’s learning the foundations of obedience, building his confidence, and preparing for a brighter future with a forever family. Blue is an incredible dog. He's clever, athletic, and full of potential. He’s looking for a home that understands his breed’s drive and energy, and is ready to give him the structure, activity, and love he’s been missing.
