My story

Connor is a lovable, curious puppy with a heart as sweet as his face! Born around March 31, 2024, Connor and his three other puppies were found abandoned in a box at just 4 weeks old. Thankfully, a kind soul rescued them and got them into our care — and now Connor is thriving in his foster home. Connor is a mix breed, likely with some Miniature Pinscher, Dachshund, or Chihuahua influence. Here are some traits that suggest this: Ears: The semi-erect, slightly floppy ears are common in breeds like Miniature Pinschers and Chihuahuas. Body shape: The slender body and long legs suggest a Min Pin or possibly a Dachshund-Chihuahua ("Chiweenie") mix. Face: The expressive eyes and short muzzle are characteristic of several small companion breeds. We really can’t be sure without a DNA test. He’s likely to grow into a small to medium dog — probably around 25 pounds, give or take. What we do know for sure is that he’s cute, smart, and eager to please. Connor is already learning the ropes of potty training — he does great when taken outside regularly, especially after naps. He loves playing with the other dogs in his foster home and is full of joyful puppy energy. All Heart of America dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations. The adoption fee is $225.
