My story

Meet Zoey, a gentle soul seeking a second chance at love and companionship. Zoey lived a wonderful life with her owner until they died, and she found herself back at the rescue.  Initially shy and timid, Zoey will be quiet and observant and will likely hide once she goes to a new home, but it is only a matter of time before she approaches you and bats at you with her paw, asking permission to come and cuddle.  She loves to sleep on her person, stretching out along your chest or lap and giving big purrs.  She is a wonderful lap cat, and she would be perfect for an older person.  She gets along with the other cats and the dog in her foster home, and will lay next to them if they aren't bothering her.  But otherwise she doesn't really play with the other cats, and prefers human companionship.  That doesn't seem like a bad thing, as her future owner, will soon be able to profess.   Zoey's adoption donation is $75 which includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing (negative for both), microchip, and spay.
