Meet Philly (aka Gunner), a charming 10-month-old Beagle/Plott Hound mix with a heart of gold! This handsome boy weighs around 35 pounds and is full of energy, love, and enthusiasm. Philly's story is one of love and second chances - after being adopted as a young puppy, he's returned to the rescue due to family changes, not because of any fault of his own. His adopters care deeply for him and want to ensure he finds the perfect forever family who can give him the time, attention, and love he deserves. We promised Philly we'd find him just that! At 10 months old, Philly is mostly full grown - he may fill out a little more, but we do not expect him to get much bigger. This playful pup loves tug-of-war, toys, balls, and treats - and is super motivated by food! Philly is a friendly and happy boy who gets along swimmingly with dogs, cats, people, and kids. With his youthful energy and loving nature, he's sure to bring joy to his forever family. As he's mostly grown, Philly will make a wonderful companion for an active family or individual. Medically up to date, housebroken, and crate trained, Philly is ready to find his perfect match. Apply today to meet this special boy and give him the loving home he deserves! Click HERE for Adoption Application: pawsrescueleague.org/adopt Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs. We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted. As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding! ##2187819##
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Philly, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
