My story

`Lacy is a sweet and well-mannered dog who thrives on affection and companionship. She is fully house-trained and listens well to commands—though interestingly, she responds best to the name Grace! Lacy is a gentle soul who enjoys being close to people, often wanting to be right in the middle during hugs and cuddles. She is a true velcro dog, happily riding in the car and patiently waiting for permission before hopping out. With low to medium-low energy, Lacy enjoys short bursts of playful chasing and loves to carry toys around, though she’s more into holding them than active play.Lacy gets along well with other dogs and has an interesting dynamic with other animals—she once chased a cat, which seemed more like playful teasing, and she enjoyed the company of rabbits and chickens. She is good with children, especially when they show her respect, and behaves nicely on a leash. Lacy has a protective streak, particularly toward women, and would thrive in a home where someone is often around or can even bring her along to work. Her calm demeanor and attentive nature make her a wonderful candidate for emotional support or PTSD assistance.Overall, Lacy is a loving, loyal companion who bonds deeply with those she trusts.
