My story

Hi, I'm Dahlia!!I'm a 2-year-old Anatolian Shepherd with a gentle heart and calm soul. I can be a little shy when we first meet, but once I feel safe, I warm up and show just how sweet I really am! I'm not big on playing with other dogs, but i'm perfectly fine co-existing with them. I'm easy to leash up and walk really nicely on a leash, which makes me a great companion for quiet strolls. If you're looking for a laid-back, loyal friend, I might just be your girl! I can't wait to find a patient, loving home where I can truly blossom!I'm a little nervous in new environments which can cause me to be shy around new people. I think I'd do best in a calm, quiet home that can give me lots of time and space to adjust. My breed is known for having a high prey drive and I have displayed this trait while at HHHS/in my previous home. I would do best in a home without small pets/livestock. If you are unfamiliar with high prey drive, please ask an adoption counselor for more information.I can be a little picky about who I want to be friends with.
