My story

Meet Chevy, a 5-year-old large mixed breed with a quiet nature and a thoughtful personality. She's shy and cautious in new environments and around unfamiliar people, but once she feels safe, she begins to show her gentle, loyal side. Chevy hasn’t lived with other animals before and seems unsure around them, so she’d do best as the only pet in the home. She also doesn’t have experience with children and should not be placed in a home with small kids or where young children are frequently present. She’s most comfortable in a calm, low-traffic environment with adults who can offer her a steady routine and a gentle approach. Chevy already knows a few cues like sit, shake, and lay down, and while she may give an alert bark when meeting someone new, she usually warms up with a kind introduction. If you're looking for a loyal companion who just needs a little time and understanding, Chevy could be the perfect match for a peaceful, adult-only home.
