My story

: 🐾 Meet Birdie! 🐾 📅 Age: 6 months 🐶 Breed: Terrier Mix Sweet little Birdie has already had quite the journey in her young life. She was found all alone, wandering through a park 🌳, until a kind-hearted Good Samaritan brought her to safety and into the care of a loving rescue 💖. Since then, she’s been thriving in an amazing foster home 🏡, where she’s been learning what it means to be safe, loved, and part of a family. Birdie gets along great with the resident dog 🐕 and is both crate trained and potty trained ✅. Her favorite spot? Anywhere soft and cozy—especially the couch! 🛋️ She’s just beginning to discover the fun of toys 🧸 and is learning how to “be a dog” and accept love 🥰. Her gentle, sensitive nature means she’ll do best in a calm home with older kids 👧🧑, as younger, more energetic children may be a bit too much for her right now. We review and schedule meets (with approved applicants only) based on the order received. Keep in mind they are young puppies with a life expectancy of up to 15 years. Our guiding principle for adoptions is to seek the right fit for family and for dog, including a home that can stay committed to them for life.
