My story

Meet Tom, a one and a half year old Husky/Shepherd mix weighing around 60 pounds.This handsome Husky mix has a gentle soul and a heart full of love just waiting to bloom. Tom is a sweet, sensitive boy who can be a little shy at first and unsure in new situations — but with some patience and TLC, he’s slowly but surely coming out of his shell. Tom walks beautifully on a leash, enjoys the little things (like yummy treats — which he takes ever so gently). He just needs a calm, loving home where he can feel safe and build confidence at his own pace. If you have a soft spot for the shy-but-sweet type and want to help a truly good boy feel loved and secure, Tom could be your perfect match. This pet is available for adoption on 5/25/2025 at 2:18 PM at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center.
