My story

🥇 Meet the Olympic Medalist Swimmer Litter! 🏊🏻‍♀️ This adorable crew is named after legendary Olympic swimmers—and for good reason! Their mama, Dara (inspired by the incredible Dara Torres), was brought into a local shelter just days before giving birth on April 1st. Now she’s raising three little champions of her own! The team includes: • Soni – named after breaststroke queen Rebecca Soni • Katie – honoring freestyle powerhouse Katie Ledecky • Phelps – our only boy, named after the one and only Michael Phelps We chose this theme after discovering that one of our girls, little Soni, was born with swimmer’s syndrome—a condition where the hind legs splay out to the sides, making it hard to walk. The good news? Soni’s condition has completely corrected! She now runs, jumps, and climbs the same as her siblings! Named after Olympic swimmer Rebecca Soni, this beautiful black kitten is graceful, strong, and full of spirit! Soni may be small, but she’s got the heart of a champion—zooming through playtime like a pro and snuggling like it’s a sport. With her sleek coat and fearless attitude, she’s ready to make a splash in your life. Let Soni be your gold medal cuddle buddy—come meet her today! These tiny athletes (and their amazing mom) are ready to dive into their forever homes! Stay tuned as they grow, play, and prepare to take home the gold in cuteness! -Social -Playful -Sweet -Adorable -Litter box trained -Good with cats with an introduction She is the complete package! She would love to find a home with one of her siblings or with another young kitty around. Given her personality, we believe she would do well with other cats, children, and cat-friendly dogs if allowed time for an introduction. Her adoption fee includes her spay surgery, microchip, age appropriate vaccinations, and group testing for FIV and FeLV. If you are interested in adopting, please go to our adoption page for more information on our adoption process and to complete our adoption application. https://www.julietshouse.org/online-adoption-applications Please note: Our policy is to adopt young kittens with a littermate, in a bonded pair, or to homes with a similar aged kitten. This policy ensures that the kittens we rescue, nurture, and love are adopted into homes that offer the best possible environment for their social development. *All in our program are assumed to be mixed breed as none have had genetic testing. They are designated based on characteristics observed and noted.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Soni, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
