My story

Glory’s name says it all—she is a quiet triumph, a tender spirit who’s been through more than her fair share in her young life. Along with her two sisters, Glory was rescued from a shelter in great need of help—exhausted, but hopeful, and yearning for kindness. Even in those early days, there was a soft spark in her eyes that said she hadn’t given up. Now safe in a loving foster home, Glory is slowly discovering what it means to be loved and cherished. She is incredibly sweet, gentle, and affectionate, with a calm, soulful presence that touches everyone she meets. Each day, she opens up a little more—shy at first, but truly loving once she feels safe. Glory gets along beautifully with other small, friendly dogs and would do well with a gentle canine companion—or would thrive as your one and only, soaking up all the love and attention she’s never had before. She is both house trained and crate trained, and she's learning to trust and find joy in her surroundings. Her ideal home is peaceful and patient, with kind people who will give her the time and love she needs to flourish. Because of her sensitive nature, she’s best suited for homes with children over the age of 10 years. Glory is an indoor-only girl and needs a securely fenced yard where she can safely enjoy some sunshine and fresh air. She is not suited for apartments, condos, or mobile homes. Her adoption fee is $400, which includes a comprehensive veterinary exam, full bloodwork, and fecal testing. Glory is more than a rescue—she’s a beautiful reminder of how love and patience can help a heart heal.
