My story

This fluffy guy is wrapping up his journey at Dakin and is ready for his next adventure! Cedric is a loving, outgoing guy with a keen eye for food and an endless need for play. This big boy will need a home that can provide him with lots of enrichment to keep him busy and active. Cedric needs to be the only cat in the home as he does not like to share his food or treats and will resource guard from other cats. He may do well with a dog with a slow introduction. Due to his need to expand his energy and to keep him busy, he may want to be an indoor/outdoor cat. If you're looking for a sweet boy who just wants to play, come meet this handsome fluffy guy! Sassy cats are usually confident, intelligent and active. They often don’t like to be held, or have places on their bodies that they prefer not to be touched. When handled or petted in ways they do not prefer, they are likely to swat, nip or bite. They will be happiest in adult only homes or those with older kids who understand cats that have rules and will leave them alone. If they are bored then they may get into trouble and often need extra playtime in order to be their best selves. All cat adoption fees include; -spay/neuter -rabies vaccine -current distemper vaccines (may need additional boosters with your veterinarian) -FeLV/FIV blood test -microchip implanted & registered to the adopter -treatment of fleas/ticks/ear mites -veterinary exam and health certificate at Dakin -free vet exam within 30 days after adoption with participating veterinarians Most pets have also received other medical care while with us. Your veterinarian may recommend additional health care for your new pet.
