My story

This adorable boy is Rocky! He ended up at the shelter as a lost boy with ID on 5/26. When his people were contacted instead of coming to reclaim him they surrendered him to the shelter. Rocky is still quite young, so he's confused about the loud, overwhelming shelter environment. The volunteers describe him as super cute, curious, friendly, and playful! Rocky does know how to sit nicely when asked! He still has a lot of puppy energy, so please ensure you have the time, energy and patience to commit to Rocky before adopting. Rocky is around 1 year of age, and weighs 25 lbs. He will most likely be a medium-sized dog when fully grown. Rocky is UTD on vaccines, has been microchipped, and did test negative for heartworms. He will be neutered upon adoption. Rocky is waiting patiently in run 49; his ID # is 10154. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
