Location: Currently being cared for in a loving home Date of Birth: March 25, 2024 Breed: German Shepherd &#226&#154&#150&#239&#184&#143 Weight: Approx. 60 lbs Name: Bear Sex: Male (Neutered) Looking for a loyal, intelligent, and energetic best friend? Meet Bear, a stunning young German Shepherd with a big heart and even bigger potential. Bear was adopted in August 2024, gifted to us a family by a former co-worker. Sadly, due to recent family health challenges and demanding work schedules, they can no longer give Bear the time and attention he truly deserves. Despite his young age, Bear is already showing the classic traits of a German Shepherd—bright, alert, and deeply devoted. He’s crate-trained and comfortable spending time in the backyard and he is housebroken.  Good With Other Dogs and Cats: Yes Kids: We have not seen him around kids but he has yet to meet a stranger so we think he will do well.  Housebroken: Yes Crate Trained: Yes Vaccinations: Up-to-date on Rabies and DHPPC &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Heartworm Preventative: Current (Last given 02/22/2025, tested negative same day) About Bear: Bear is truly a teddy bear at heart—sweet-natured, very friendly, and always eager for affection. He has a natural protective streak, as is typical of his breed, but it’s paired with a playful and loving personality. He loves being around people and other dogs, and thrives on attention and interaction.
