My story

Introducing Cara Mia! She was brought to the shelter on 5/19 because she was on a journey to find her way home and got lost. Cara Mia is only 2 years old and weighs a mere 67lbs. The volunteers describe her as sweet girl, cute, and obedient, and playful once outside. She walks very well on a leash as well. She is so quiet in her kennel you would never know she was there. She has had some puppies in the past but will be taking the "no more puppies" pledge soon. She is a smart cookie as she knows sit, shake, and lay down. Please take some time and visit with her in Run 810; her ID is 10112. She is waiting for you! Please help her find her way out of the shelter and into your heart, home and family. Cara Mia is current on vaccines and tested negative for heartworms; she will be spayed and microchipped upon adoption. Please take some time and schedule to meet this awesome kiddo and get to know her a little better. Cara Mia is probably what you have been looking for all this time. She is patiently waiting for her forever family to save her life. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heart worm or combo test and a microchip.
