Winston

My story

Winston is apx 6 years old and 6 pounds. He is a very shy boy and takes time and patience to warm up to new people. Winston is never ever aggressive. He has been through a lot and has lived in several different homes and I think each one thinks they could “fix him” well Winston is just winston. He is shy. We need an adopter that is okay with him being him. He absolutely needs the following : * A well fenced in yard * other dogs in the home to bond with * no small children * love , patience, kindness and a soft voice. Winston is scared of men . He hides a lot when he is afraid and will go under the bed or anywhere he can hide and he won’t come out for hours. Winston does bond to his mama and enjoys a human or two once he gets used to you but Winston is part cat and sometimes just likes his alone time. He enjoys being a part of your day, a part of the home, he wants a quiet and calm loving home where there are not a ton of people always coming in and out. He enjoys other small dogs. Winston is just afraid of his own shadow , he has a sad soul it seems at times, he just needs that special person to let him be him and come out in his own time, To love him for the little shy boy he is , coddle him when he is afraid, and give him space when he needs some space. He needs an adopter that is ok with the fact that Winston may go in cat mode, but given some time and love he comes out of his shell little by little. He is a really sweet boy.
