younMeet Ramona! This beautiful girl is a one-eyed wonder, backyard sun goddess, and professional grass roller. Ramona is done with the hard part. Toe amputated? Check. Diseased and painful eye removed? Check. Former family who tried to have her euthanized over a toe injury? UN-checked, thanks to a vet with a heart and a phone number for Miri’s. Now this beautiful girl is living her best soft life in foster care, soaking up sunshine like it’s her full-time job and rolling in the grass like she owns it. Ramona is a quiet, loyal, deeply sweet little dog who just wants a calm home, a nice yard, and humans who understand that sunbathing is a sacred ritual. She follows her people around like a fuzzy assistant, offers moral support during snack breaks, and naps like it’s competitive sport. She’s perfectly housebroken, crate trained, good with cats, a peaceful car copilot, and 100% good pup. Ramona is currently being treated for Cushing’s disease, a condition in senior dogs that’s managed with ongoing daily meds and vet care. She’s feeling great and ready to keep living her very best golden years, but she will require her medication to live her best life. Ramona is not a fan of chaos (no young kids, please!), great with other dogs who respect her boundaries, and ready for a forever with people who are home often and talk to her like she's part of the conversation (because she is).
