My story

Available for Foster-to-Adopt! Meet Lucky, a sweet 10-week-old puppy ready to begin his forever journey. This little angel and his sister, Chloe were being sold on the streets of an inner city when one of our amazing contacts stepped in just in time. We couldn’t turn our backs but we had no fosters available. Thankfully, our longtime supporters Meg and Matt came to the rescue and are now giving him a safe place to land while we search for a forever (foster-to-adopt) homes. At just 10 weeks old, he already received the first round of vaccines and handled it like a pro. He is doing great with outdoor potty breaks, eating well, and even sleeping through the majority of the night—huge for pups this age! Crate training and enrichment are key right now, especially as he is full-on teething monster! He’ll need a home with lots of patience, structure, and love to help him continue learning. We’re looking for foster-to-adopt homes that have: -A well-balanced resident dog(s) to help guide them or a plan of dog socialization -Owners willing to work on crate training, leash walking, commands, and housebreaking -Spayed/neutered resident dogs, up to date on vaccines -A location within 1 hour of Howell, NJ, as they’ll need two more vet visits Adoption will be finalized once vetting is complete.
