My story

A volunteer writes:Moon's world turned upside down when her owners moved to a place not allowing pets. She had a good life since kittenhood and shared happily her days with a host of other kitties. A loving cat she was to her family. Moon has been very shy at the care center, making herself small and trying to be invisible to her visitors. She likes treats and as I insist, she accepts petting, even slightly leans her head agains my hand and gives me a faint purr(see her video). Moon is a gentle soul. I know she can come out of her shell but may be not in a shelter environment that seems to be a little too much for her. The warmth of a home is very much needed. If you like timid kitties and believe that you can make a difference in her life by giving her a loving home, Moon is really the pet for you. Come and meet Moon very soon at the Manhattan Care Center.
