APRIL

My story

APRIL and her siblings started their life in a stack of tires on the side of Route 1. Their young mother, MS. JUNE, was doing her very best to keep them safe. We just happened to stop a concrete wholesaler when the owner mentioned that he thought one of his strays had had babies. The kittens and their mother were rescued and cared for in a foster home for four months until they came back to the rescue. April is like a little tomboy. Her older brother can be aggressive with his sisters, but she's a tough little cookie and can hold her own. April is very loving and affectionate toward humans. She would definitely be a top cat if she lived in a colony. April is young and will need another cat or a companion kitten in the house. Since she and her siblings have been socialized and are around other cats in the rescue, they could be introduced into a medium- to high-energy home. April is a sweet, energetic kitten waiting for a loving family and furever home. If you are unsure whether you and your family are ready for kittens, ask about our foster to adopt program.
