My story

Jersey is a big, handsome guy who is ready to leave his "tom-cat" days behind! He's very sweet and loves human attention. Since he's spent his life outside, he'd really like a home where he can be inside and outside. Jersey really doesn't like dogs or other cats so would be best in a home as the only 4-legged prince.Be the first to meet Jersey by completing the online adoption application. And if he isn't adopted by Saturday, he will be attending the weekly adoption event at PetSmart, Bleachery Blvd, from 12-4pm and you can meet him there. All cats are spayed/neutered, current on age appropriate vaccines, FELV/FIV tested, microchipped, dewormed and started on monthly flea preventative. All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label.
