My story

George was found abandoned in a park in Desoto, Missouri. His condition was very grave, as he was injured and so sickly that no one was sure if he would even pull through. George has made remarkable progress and is now ready to find his forever home! George is currently back from foster and is residing comfortably in his room at our Kitty Cottage, where he hopes his people come meet him soon. This brave boy was also diagnosed as FeLV+ upon his intake, meaning that he can only be in a single-cat household or live with other FeLV+ felines to prevent the potential spread of infection. Despite his diagnosis and the curveballs life has thrown his way, George remains a gentle and patient soul through it all. He loves to chat and stretch out his arms when he's relaxing and wants cuddles. He's also goofy, and enjoys hunting down the tricky puffball at the end of a wand toy. You can find him cozying up inside of any nook that allows him to watch the outside world, whether it's within a tunnel, a cat tower, or a bed. 🐾 Throughout the past few months, George has remained a brave and hopeful cat, eager to bring love and joy to his new family.
