My story

Pool is the kind of dog whose presence alone brings a sense of calm. She is incredibly easygoing—one of those rare souls who can simply sit beside you and somehow make the world feel lighter. If you're having a hard day, being near her is like exhaling after holding your breath for too long. She has a quiet grace, an unspoken kindness that touches everyone around her. We don’t know if her gentle spirit comes from what she’s been through in her past, or if she was just born this way—full of love and peace. But what we do know is that she deserves a home where she’s needed just as much as she needs them. Whoever adopts her won’t just be giving a dog a home—they’ll be gaining a healing presence in their life. Pool gets along beautifully with other dogs and cats. She’s unfazed by chaos and remains a calm, grounding presence no matter her surroundings. But alas her perfect little soul, time is running out. Pool is heartworm positive and currently at risk for euthanasia. She needs an adopter, foster or rescue, and she needs it soon.
