Meet Harmony – A Gentle Heart Waiting to Bloom Breed: Pit Bull MixAge: 8 monthsVaccinated Good with Dogs | Available for Foster-to-AdoptHarmony is an 8-month-old pit bull mix with a tender spirit and a heart full of love—she’s just waiting for the right person to help her feel safe again.Harmony and her sister were abandoned by their owners, and while that experience left her understandably shy, she hasn’t lost her gentle, affectionate nature. With time, patience, and a quiet home, Harmony will slowly begin to trust and show you the sweet, loving companion she truly is.She’s great with other dogs and may feel most confident in a home with a calm canine friend. If you already have a dog, we ask that you bring them for a meet-and-greet to ensure a good match before bringing Harmony home.Harmony is up-to-date on all her vaccines and will be available for foster-to-adopt until her scheduled spay appointment with Animal Control. This gives her the chance to settle into a home environment while continuing her journey to trust and confidence.While we’re not certain how she’ll do with cats, we believe Harmony could adapt well with slow, supervised introductions.If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.My adoption fee is $100
