My story

At 13.5 years old, Cali is not a stranger to starting over, but she’s looking forward to making this final home her forever one! Cali had lived a long, storied life, and her old bones are longing for a nice retirement—think palm trees, sunny shores, drinks with an umbrella. For Cali, that dream vacation looks like a mellow, low-energy home without dogs. If she can be selfish, she’d love to be a solo cat too. (She’s lived with both dogs and cats and never warmed to either.) Little humans? They’re reportedly fine as long as they give her space. According to her previous family, Cali’s favorite things are window watching, being loved on, and toys of any kind. She enjoys bestowing affection on her terms, rolling around and giving gentle head butts, but she would best suit a human who isn’t offended if she wants to be left to her hobbies. A lady has earned her sunbeam peace, don’t you think? If you don’t mind your furry queen ruling the roost, Cali might be your purrfect match.
