My story

***** Mimi has been at the shelter longer than we would like so she is a member of our Lonely Hearts Club and her adoption fee has been reduced to $10. *****Hi, I’m Mimi – a sweet and soulful senior looking for a calm, loving home.I’m shy at first, but once I feel safe, I become the most affectionate, talkative lap cat you’ll ever meet. I love being brushed, petted, and especially sitting on your lap or snuggling in bed. I sleep in my foster’s room every night and always know when you need a little extra love — my soothing purrs are pure therapy. Some of my favorite things? Looking out the window, crinkle toys, and seafood wet food (Fancy Feast, please!). I prefer a peaceful home and tend to be more reserved around visitors, but with my person, I’m all love. If you’re patient and kind, I’ll reward you with the sweetest companionship imaginable.Medical history: I was a bit stressed in my previous home with the other cats, so there were a few times I didn’t feel comfortable or safe enough to use my litter box. I haven’t had any issues at the shelter, though, and I know I’ll do well with a slow intro to a low stress home without other cats.
