My story

Meet Wee One.This shy and reserved lady came to us after her previous owner could no longer care for her due to their declining health. Her family described her as always being quiet and independent, but never mean or aggressive — just a gentle soul who needs time to feel safe. A typical Tortie. Wee One is very sweet and affectionate once she settles in, though she’ll likely start off hiding in a safe, quiet spot. With patience and a calm environment, she blossoms into a loving companion who enjoys chin rubs and quiet affection.She has lived with other mellow cats in the past and seemed to appreciate having a calm feline friend. Wee One has no known history with dogs or young children and would likely prefer a peaceful home without either. However, during a recent visit, she surprised us by enjoying attention from a family with older tween-aged kids, soaking in all the love.Wee One is looking for a quiet, understanding home where she can come out of her shell at her own pace.
