My story

This adorable boy is Patroclo! He was surrendered to the shelter on 5/27 because his family is moving and they weren't able to take him. His former family did note that Patroclo is house-trained, good with kids, and good with cats and dogs. He was surrendered with a smaller dog who has already been adopted. The volunteers describe Patroclo as a very good boy. He is a little scared in the loud, overwhelming shelter. Understandably so, his entire world has been turned upside down. He does know how to sit nicely when asked. Patroclo will need a patient and loving family who will give him time to adjust in a new home and learn to trust and love again. Patroclo is 1 year old and weighs 42 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines and did test negative for heartworms. He will be neutered and microchipped upon adoption. Patroclo is waiting patiently in run 876; his ID # is 10346. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
