My story

Hello, I'm BOWIE. I'm a 1.5 year old orange, tabby boy. My foster mom says I’m a hunk, but I'm just a chill and amenable guy. I can be chatty sometimes, but I usually just look for a warm and comfy spot to nap. I love to nap in a lap or right next to a warm leg while my foster mom works from home or reads. My fur is very soft and I like to get as many pets as possible. During my more active times, I like to chase a wand toy around. I like to hunt it by sneaking up on it. I will also bat a mousey or ball around the room and through a tunnel. One of my favorite things is to watch the birds and squirrels out the window and chatter at them. I also like to watch the world from up high and survey all the goings on. I get along well with welcoming kitties, but I can get intimidated by dominant resident cats. I love calm school age kids and adults alike, so I would make a fantastic family pet. All cats & kittens are up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed, fixed, and tested FeLV/FIV negative. Adoption fee is a minimum $85 per cat donation to Feral Fixers. Discounted adoption fee if two cats are adopted together, $150 for a pair. A brief screening questionnaire and contract apply! All of our cats/kittens are in foster homes throughout DuPage County. We consider adopters within a reasonable driving distance.
