My story

Barney was surrendered to SimcoeDHumane when the owner could no longer deal with his size (He is a BIG Boy)! He does very well in a cage, has learned some very good behaviour as far as jumping up at people (90% of the time is on all fours), is doing well learning on a leash (does still get excited and pulls) and is 100% a people person. He is not too fond of other dogs and gets very bossy, leading to worse behaviour. He is very calm around little people (but out of precaution do not leave alone), he likes younger adults that will run, play ball, and keep him entertained. Seniors and toddlers not advisable ... Toddlers he would just run over, and seniors would need to have extra help as he forgets how big he is and may cause tripping or falling dangers.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Barney, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
