WINNIE Breed: Italian greyhound + chihuahua mix Age: 1 year Weight: 15 pounds Adoption Fee: $375 Vetting Status: spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines, dewormed, heartworm negative and maintained on preventatives. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hi! Anyone have a key to my puppy prison cell? I'm planning to stage a jailbreak & looking for some new humans who can help hide (adopt) me so I don't have to go back. I mean, can you believe I only get 2 large... err... 1 tiny meal per day in rescue? And running around for hours non-stop is considered "high-energy" ? Besides, I have *allegedly* murdered all the squeaky fluff toys in the house & the warden here says I deserve a "life sentence somewhere else" for that "crime"? An adoption process is required to include filling out an online adoption application available at the following link -- https://www.k9rescuees.org/info/adoption Veterinary and personal reference checks, and a home visit/meet-n-greet are required PRIOR to being approved to adopt. The time frame for completing this process depends largely on how quickly references respond, your vet office is able to speak to us (some want written permission first), your landlord or HOA (if applicable) confirms their approval for a pet, & how your schedule aligns with that of our volunteer(s) for the Home Visit. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ PLEASE NOTE ~ All of our rescue members are volunteers with many obligations.
