Fairy

My story

Fairy came from a neglectful situation and is getting her second start at life. When she first arrived at out partner shelter, Gigi`s, she was very shy/fearful of touch and interacting with people. Given patience, time and loving care, she has made great strides but still needs support. Families with previous shy-dog experience may be best suited for Fairy as she will need time and confidence building. Although many shy-fearful dogs can become very comfortable and confident with their family and `inner circle` of friends, they may always initially struggle with novel people and places. These puppies typically bond very closely to their family though. Fairy spent some time in foster care where she opened up with the family and was playful. Fairy is a medium sized mixed breed dog, approximately 11-12 weeks old and currently weighs 14 pounds.
