My story

Dessy interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for cat parents with either an average amount of cat experience, demonstrate a basic understanding of typical cat behavior.A volunteer writes: Handing me her heart in her little paws, Dessy is waiting now to give her heart to you. She's been trying her best since she got here and though the Care Center is merely a brief stop on Dessy's way to her forever home, it's come on a bit unexpectedly. A lifelong learner at 12 years young, she's been open to the infinite strategies available when it comes to acclimating to shelter life and has shifted from huddling in the corner (she likes to warm up to people first) to becoming the star of the show in Adoptions. Everyone knows and loves Dessy not only because she rolls over and snuggles up like a little kitten, but because she's just trying so hard to get someone to notice her.
